A source says O’Brien fell while shooting a scene, but O’Brien’s rep says she expects he will recover fully from his injuries. Production on the film will be shut down while he recovers, according to a statement from Fox. In the movie, O’Brien’s character, Thomas, embarks on a mission to find a cure to a deadly disease known as the “Flare.” Wes Ball is directing the film, which is set for release on Feb, 17, 2017. He was taken immediately to a local hospital for his injuries.
